Based on the same platform as the Marlin SBL Series, the Marlin 336 Trapper boasts a shorter, more maneuverable 16″ barrel; a bead-blasted, satin stainless finish for low glare in the field and rapid acquisition with the adjustable Skinner Sights receiver-mounted peep sight system. Other features threaded barrel, with factory-installed thread protector, has a 5/8″-24 pattern; 5rd tubular magazine with a loading gate located on the receiver; soft-rubber buttpad; positive, push-button, cross-bolt manual safety and traditional half-cock hammer; laminate buttstock and forend; sharp checkering provides an excellent grip in all weather conditions; oversized lever loop; slim forend for an attractive look and comfortable feel. Includes sling swivel studs and offset hammer spur.
