This is always fresh 100% whitetail estrous urine taken from whitetails that are in their estrus period. Whitetail can be brought into estrus at any time after being administered pheromones that bring them into heat any time of the year. The urine is kept frozen or refrigerated until shipped fresh. This lure works best as an attractant during the 2 weeks before the prime rut in october when bucks are still traveling their usual patterns scent trailing, creating scrapes, rubs and looking for does that may come into heat. During the prime rut in november, this scent also attracts those bucks that have not locked onto a hot doe. 
Use this scent with the eye dropper applicator supplied to drag rags and scent canisters and place them about 15-20 yards from your stand. 
It is very important to always for yourself and clothes and equipment to be  scent free from any foreign scent that deer can detect and be washed in unscented detergent. Always hunt down wind of the area that you suspect the deer will come from.
