This  single reed sika- elk mouth diaphragm call is a call that you can use hands free especially when the animal gets close and you can not use a call with hand movement. This call makes fine short chirps or mews of the female (hind) sika deer or loud whistles (bugles) of the rutting stag male. If you are familiar with using turkey mouth calls, you will easily master this call. It will produce a loud screaming bugle or soft hind chirps. 

This call will also be used to make the rutting bugle of the majestic bull elk or the soft mews of a female elk cow.  Works great with a bugle tube. This call is also used to make the calls of the st. Vincent island, fla. Sambar deer hind.
